Just to make a few things clear: we are currently using the website you are on right now as a way to communicate news and updates about gomk. This is subject to change at any time.
Regarding finances, instead of pay per download (which may not be sufficient for some), we offer a more loose option to pay via Monero donations in any amount you want to give us. We would rather you have free access to the files at no charge via whatever method available, than have to face a paywall or severe restrictions to acquire these files. The reason we ask for donations is to support us so we can better optimize our ability to reach the largest audience possible and expand our options on more efficient tools to offer higher quality content.
The links to download are, to our knowledge, reliable and safe, and we do regular vetting to make sure it is so. Should any of these files go down or suddenly get deleted for any reason, we offer an option to download via a disposable OnionShare link for more private downloads. We are aware of the possibilites of hacking, DDOS, man in the middle attacks, and the like. We also understand that we are more vulnerable to such attacks. Despite this, there will always be a way to get back to you as soon as possible.
There will be new music coming soon this year so stay tuned for any alerts. The style of the music tends to change and combine a lot, so don't expect only one genre to be heard. It also tends to be somewhat harsh and noisy at times. We don't like using specific terms to describe the music because we prefer to touch on all subjects rather than explore only one or two subjects. We do know that it is more digital than acoustic, and that it is almost always instrumental without vocals. If that's not your thing, then we don't know what to tell you. We share this content because we like it, and we want you to hear it, not because we want to trick anyone into doing things they don't want to do or we only care about the money like everyone else.
