And Now... A Special Word From Minji!
I once read somewhere that dull colours are an indicator of something gone wrong in the people who prefer them. They usually have little to no energy levels that can't be easily resolved because it's like a blockage that won't go away. I've had people tell me that those who live in industrial cities are more likely to prefer these colours because they're "professional" and "mature" than vibrant colours which are seen as "attention seeking" except in specific subcultures. I never once judged a person's personality by their preferred colour scheme, but I agree that some colours are brighter than others. I also don't really understand why some colours are more seemingly professional than others as to me they are what they are. But I do notice that dull colours for me tend to evoke emotional emptiness and boredom. I don't feel exactly noticeably professional or confident or even good in these colours.
I would also read stories about the differences between city life and country life in various countries like Britain, America, Japan, etc. and the one thing city people all have in common is that they rely on a stimulant to get through their job which can extend to midnight hours and/or a depressant to relax with friends at some night club or to go to sleep easily. The luxury fashion brands they prefer always have some pattern of grey, black, white, brown, beige and other darker colours; very occasionally will they have some bright colours in them. And also, they are pretty much rude and disrespectful to anyone who isn't like them, but will get offended if you act the same way as them. I did not get to pay much attention to the flaws or perks of living in the country, but their schedule tends to be somewhat more balanced to stay sane without the use of drugs and their colour scheme is slightly less dull depending on the region. I have no ill intentions held against either.
I don't like to reveal much about myself, but I try my best to represent every colour of the spectrum and not rely on what society thinks of them. It might be biased or inconsistent, but it works for me.
This is the easiest subject I can write about as of right now, so please forgive me if you were expecting anything excitably important from me.
